A piece of me

When I was a little girl, I loved to play house. I always picked babies over barbies, and have always been a natural nurturer. God has given me so much to be grateful for, more than I could ever share. I grew up in a loving home with both of my parents & five siblings who are still my best friends, even as adults. I worked at Disney World as a princess, every girls dream, and received a great education from Indiana University. I traveled abroad, was in countless extra curricular activities, and met great friends, one in particular - my husband. I met Kory my freshman year, his sophomore. Our friendship grew like wildfire, and we were constantly wanting to learn more about one another. A friendship that set a strong foundation for a healthy relationship and later, marriage. We aren't perfect, but together we're pretty great. We balance each other out, and when we don't, we have a hard time staying mad at one another. Kory is an extremely hard worker, and I'm eternally thankful for his commitment in school and work which allows me to stay home with our daughters. Being a SAHM is something I knew I always wanted, and although there are days that are exhausting and down right brutal, staying home is something I get to do, so in a way it's a luxury, a very non-glamourous one. It's a journey that requires a ton of patience and grace, and a journey that brings laughter to my days and love to my heart. I hope you follow my motherhood journey or at least stop by every once in awhile.
